The Grapevine Vintage Railroad welcomes volunteer help with projects ranging from paperwork to polishing brass on the steam engine. Some of the projects are maintenance and repair of Equipment, Railroad Stations, and the Roundhouse. Train cleaning and polishing is needed year-round. No special skills are required, only willingness to learn and work. If you have special skills such as electrical, plumbing, welding, machine shop and carpentry, there are many projects where they can be used. A skilled employee will be with every group on work-days.
The railroad needs many volunteers for station and on-board work during the special productions such as Day out with Thomas, North Pole Express, Main Street Days and Grapefest. Walking Tours are being developed and Volunteers will be needed as Docents. If you have a few hours a week, month or year, the help will be sincerely appreciated.

Train rides for volunteers and their families will be awarded and foods will be provided on work days. Many Special Events for Volunteers are also being planned.
